Usage Instructions
-
Preparation:
-
Shake the can vigorously before use.
-
Clean and moisten the application surface thoroughly. Moistening helps accelerate foam curing.
-
Attach the foam can to the gun by screwing it in tightly. Turn the can upside down for application.
-
-
Adjusting Foam Flow:
-
Use the adjustment valve located on the back of the gun handle to control the foam output.
-
-
Application:
-
Hold the nozzle 2–3 cm from the surface of the polystyrene board.
-
Apply the foam in an "M" pattern across the board.
-
Wait approximately 2 minutes before pressing the board firmly onto the surface.
-
Provide support for up to 1 minute, depending on the size and weight of the board.
-
-
Coverage & Timing:
-
For large insulation panels, ensure that at least 10% of the surface is covered with foam.
-
Correction time is up to 8 minutes after application.
-
The adhesive achieves full mechanical strength in just 2 hours, after which construction can continue.
-
-
Working Conditions:
-
Application temperature: -10 °C to +35 °C.
-
If using the foam in low temperatures, warm the can to approximately +18 °C by placing it in a warm room or in warm water (do not overheat).
-
-
Cleaning:
-
Remove uncured foam using FOME FLEX Foam Cleaner.
-
Cured foam can be removed manually or with FOME FLEX Hardened Foam Remover.
