  • Description

FOME FLEX 7 Doors & Windows is a one-component polyurethane mounting foam designed specifically for the professional sealing of windows and doors. This high-performance foam offers exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation, making it ideal for enhancing energy efficiency and soundproofing in construction projects.

With its constant flexibility and low thermal conductivity of just 0.030 W/mK, FOME FLEX 7 ensures durable and effective thermal insulation. The foam is capable of withstanding up to 25% displacement, making it perfect for sealing moving structures. Its high noise reduction index effectively reduces sound by up to 63 dB, contributing to a quieter indoor environment.

The foam boasts an extremely low secondary expansion rate of only 30%, minimizing pressure on window and door frames. It polymerizes quickly, allowing it to be cut after just 25 minutes without compromising the integrity of the foam or its sealing properties. One tube provides coverage of approximately 40 meters (2.5 - 5cm bead) or 40 litres when free-flowing, streamlining the installation process. Fully cured in 80-100 minutes.

With a temperature resistance range from -40°C to +90°C after hardening, FOME FLEX 7 ensures long-lasting performance in a variety of environments.

This advanced mounting foam simplifies and accelerates window and door installation, delivering superior thermal and sound insulation with ease and reliability.

  • Usage Instructions

    1. Ensure the work surface is thoroughly cleaned and moistened before application.
    2. Shake the can vigorously and securely attach it to the gun.
    3. Invert the can with the valve facing downward.
    4. To control the foam flow, adjust the valve located on the back of the gun handle.
    5. Proceed to fill the cavity with foam.
    6. Excess foam can be cut away after just 25 minutes.

The recommended operating temperature range is from -5°C to +35°C. When using in colder conditions, warm the can to +18°C by placing it in warm water or a heated room. If the ambient temperature is below 0°C there is no need to moisten area as ice particles on the surface will introduce the required moisture.
