Description
FOME FLEX Glazing & Window Production is a premium, Oxime-based neutral silicone designed for professional window manufacturing, glazing, and façade applications. It offers exceptional UV, moisture, and mold resistance, making it highly suitable for use in humid indoor environments as well as for outdoor glazing and façade work.
This versatile silicone is compatible with butyl, plastics, and other silicones, making it an ideal choice for window applications. Its excellent durability ensures a long service life (Shore A even 26). The silicone forms joints that are highly elastic and mechanically strong, providing reliable, long-lasting performance. Additionally, it demonstrates excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces. Compatibility tests with butyl, silicones, and plastics commonly used in the window industry have been conducted in certified laboratories, ensuring optimal results.

Usage Instructions
All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease. The sealant joint should not exceed a width of 25 mm, with a minimum width of 6 mm. For deeper joints, use a load-bearing expansion tape to fill the gap. The silicone should be applied using a syringe gun and then smoothed out with a trowel to ensure an even joint. A skin will form within 5 minutes. Allow the sealant to remain undisturbed until it is fully cured.
